Eddie has arrived! New bachmann class 66411 Eddie the engine has just come though the letter box. Here it is entering camelot TMD for inspection by the other locos.

|
| |
Lights everywhere, like the new Bachmann class 37s this loco is fitted with cab lights aswell which you can see here. There is no chip in this loco yet , thats why all the lights are on at once. Have to go and buy another chip now before i can run it in and get it into service on Camelot.

Seeing as the lights were out i thought i would take a quick snap of the TMD as it looked so pretty!

Lights back on now, just turned the Camera around and took a picture of the tmd shed area. Not taken a picture here for a while, its looking a bit more healthy here now after a good clean and service. Here is the Heljan 58 on an engineers train passing the TMD. With a Hornby 56 and Bachmann 37 waiting for work.

I have finally got around to chipping a few locos that have been waiting for months in their boxes. Here is a new bachmann class 37 in my favorite livery. Again like the dutch one i chipped a few months back , straight out of the box it runs perfect in both directions. Glad it did really, because i chipped it and weathered it before running it. So here it is shunting some wagons back into the storage sidings of the TMD, after it was run in for an hour.

As i said in the entry above, sector livery is my favorite, so i got all mine together at the TMD for a quick photo. Still need to do the ballast!

Heres another picture of the new 37, because i like it!

Started on the new hill over the helix this weekend. I spent a little while putting in chichen wire and a few supports. Not to much work was needed as the plaster cloth dries so solid when layed over. Here is a picture of the chicken wire.

|
| |
Next was the plaster cloth , layed on in big squares and strips.

|
| |
After about 20 mins the whole hill is nice and hard. So i placed a few scenic items infront of it, which i borrewed from the demo board. Looks good i think , with a small quarry siding???? Just need a curved point now to add the siding.

Here is a spotters eye view taken from the middle of platforms 3 and 4 looking towards the tunnels. Hope to get some of the ballast and scenic stuff done over the next week or so, also add a few more signals, when i can afford them!

Finally, Camelot is starting to look like a railway again and not a construction site. Iv'e added a bit of paint and grass to the new hill just to make it look more of a hill rather than a ski slope. Its only really the first coat of scenery , loads more to be done. Here it is after being painted with the first layer of static grass being applied. Paint is still glossy where its wet.

Heres the hill again an hour later. Long way from being finished, but at least it's not so bright.

|
| |
It's a bit hard to see from the front, but this picture shows the contours of the hill better, also its a nice view of the station approach from up here!
