The last update page was getting a bit to big, so i thought i had better start another, and it starts with a bang! The camelot gas works has exploded and been totally revomed from the map! For those of you who forgot what it looked like see below.

Then suddenly, as if by magic a new TMD has appeared! I was bored with the gas works, so when i saw bachmann was releasing this i put my order in and it arrived this week. As you can see its only put in place to work out its posistion. Im going to add lights to the depot and surrounding buildings first the wire them all up before i fix it all in place. I have nearly everything needed to do it all from start to finish, only need a couple more bits of track and cork, which i will pick up tomorrow.

Also purchased was this train washer, also by Bachmann.

I'm looking forward to working on this area, will hopefully look nice with a few lights dotted around.

Did a bit more work to the TMD today , although i have a super dose of man flu, which has slowed me down. The track is all cut to size, but not fixed down and i have added lights to the front of the TMD main building. I also managed to get the last bits of track and cork i need, so when i feel better i can crack on. But for now i will leave you with a couple of pictures of the Camelot 37s examining their new home........ First one taken from the platform and the second from the over bridge.

Well, im astonished, i managed to get stuff done for a change! Got the new tmd track in place and all wired up, including the point motors. Started work on the cemented area around the track, got all the buffer lights going...... and generally stormed ahead with work for a change. As you will see in the picture below, alot has happened in 2 days!

Next on the hit list is, ballast the sleeper areas on the approach to the depot, make a disused siding (you can see where i have layed a few sleepers). Put some lights inside the main building and around the fuel point. Then all i have to do is add a few more trees up the back a bit of weeds and weather the whole area!

Just a pretty picture to finish this small update with! (and a wonky tower light)

The new TMD is nearly finished, all now up and running. All i have to do now is add my ratio security fence around the outside.

Now, to get cracking with the main junction end. Just 2 point motors left to wire up, shouldn't take to long. Then i can do the ballast leading up to the platforms, thats going to be a long job....... All the signals are now in place this end, just not wired up yet. I had a go at making a signal gantry for over the branchline, bit rough, but not bad for a first effort. The signal head on the left will signal trains off to the branch or over the point work to the main down line. The one on the right is basically a terminating signal , for trains that want to leave the branch line back from the up platform. Just need to work out how to do some feathers for the signals.......

Just had to add this picture of my Flangeway snow plow i picked up at warley. I weathered it a bit and is now in storage waiting for snow, like you see the real ones doing, dotted all round the country.

I was trying to make a new movie clip today from an angle iv'e never used before and took this picture to see what it would look like. The layout is really starting to look real from this angle, i was well pleased. Not the best picture, but still looks good. Hope you agree?

People keep asking me where i got my Flangeway models snow plough from, theres a clue in the picture below...... also anyone from flangeway that likes my little free advert...... another snow plow would be great .. nudge nudge wink wink!!

Well Christmas has been and gone already and i got my HST, now i have to get all the coaches. I got 1 as a gift, so only 7 more to go!
