I decided to have a BR Blue gathering at the TMD, so here are a couple of pictures for those br blue lovers out there. (Alan)
Finally turned on the power at the warehouse, excellent lights from express models illuminate the area.
Being christmas and having some time off work, finally got around to doing a bit of work on the new section of the tmd. As you can see in the picture there are some base colours of paint down ready for scatter and ballast to be added. I have done the section on the left, because this area is never going to be anything apart from waste land. I will probably add a fence along the edge of the railway on that side and then that corner will be done . Will keep you posted on detail parts for this area.
A dutch livery class 31 inspecting the new head shunt for the loco shed. This siding will be a home for a few older locos that dont see regular service on the Camelot mainline as the head shunt is long enough for 4 locos and still leaves room for locos entering the shed. This is also going to serve as a photographic point for locos as i can get the camera in nice and close and low.
A worker has turned up at the yard to fix a brake problem on a 31 . Nobody has told him that the yard is not complete yet. In this picture you can see various stages of detail. One side of the track is painted, not going to worry about the other side as this will be hidden by the plastic which you can see on the other track. The track closest to the camera is the head shunt.
Here is my new arrival which i purchased at the warley. Now run in and fitted with a Lenz gold decoder is ready for service on camelot. Also needs to visit the weathering table!
Another new arrival in the form of a hornby class 60 . This loco was recieved a christmas present (thanks Jackie) Lenz gold decoder has been fitted and loco has been run in. Also needs to be weathered.
